Julianne has a favorite pair of jeans. Make that had.
Her experience a few days ago inspired her to write a haiku. She gave me permission to share it here, appropriate as it is for the holidays.
Zipper on pants broke
Sadness overwhelming me
Thankfully alone
She makes a good point. It could have been much worse.
Oh no! they officially broke? Sadness!

You gals are all so talented!
ReplyDeleteFunny line - "Thankfully Alone" :)
Speaking of recipes - since Becky was - we made the sweet french bread for Thanksgiving - everyone loves this bread! Emily made a double batch and today I used the last of it for a wonderful batch of French Toast! Yummy!
Sorry about the jeans...it is sad to lose a favorite pair!

Uncle's sympathy

i love being part of this family. We are so weird together sometimes, but I wouldn't want it any other way! We were just talking the other day about how we all got into stripping the old finish off the dining room table one easter after eating. Who else but our family would do that?!?! lol And I love the haikus. Both were hilarious and brilliant.
