Just like the other time, the deer got away-so no venison for poor Clarence.
Isn't it a good thing we had a clothesline in the back? Otherwise, he couldn't have tied the bumper to the fender and kept driving to work.
I'm going to take it to the insurance office tomorrow and find out what we need to do. I never got around to canceling full coverage on the van but I don't imagine it's actually worth fixing.
Bummer, Sis & Brother...especially since you got no tasty meat for all your trouble. Maybe Clarence could weld up a "cowcatcher" for the front of the van like the old locomotives had...with an arm that holds the deer in place during a collision...could sell like hotcakes up North...:)
These field rats are taking over!!! :) I live about 3 1/2 miles from D.C. and occasionally seem them running down my street...crazy... :) Glad everyone is ok
uh oh! Is the van totaled? It looks pretty bad! Did Clarence have venison for dinner?
ReplyDeleteOh de(e)r! That is awful!
ReplyDeleteWe did have a big laugh over that shirt, though. If I were you I think I would just hang that one up and enjoy it from a distance...

My parents bought that shirt for my brother years ago - it's still a favorite!
ReplyDeleteGlad that Clarence was fine. Sorry about the car - we had our share of accidents this summer....
