(It's only gotten colder here since then.)
Our cat did well while we were gone but we're going to have to figure something else out for the litter issue next year if the old guy is still with us. The litter was supposed to work for one cat for 20-30 days. Um, nope. Poor Belle. Any suggestions?
We had a great time-beautiful weather, nice visits, lots of relaxation. Getting back to reality has been tough but we're slowly getting back in the groove.
I didn't take a lot of pictures while we were gone but I'll likely come up with a couple to share soon. Once my frosty fingers thaw again and I can pry my frozen memory card out of my icy camera, that is. Maybe June or July?
We are well. Thank you. And thank you for commenting. We have about 6-7 inches of snow on top of about an inch of ice! And to top things off our 4-wheel drive jeep broke it's axle (while trying to pull somebody else out of ditch). The saying that comes to mind is "If it weren't for bad luck, we have no luck at all." Trying to stay positive! Hope all is well with you and yours. Stay warm and safe. kdc
ReplyDeleteglad you got a chance to escape winter for a lit bit.
ReplyDeletenot much help with litter box other than perhaps going back using 2 litter boxes while you're away?
your belle looks alot like our molly. :)
stay warm!
That 84 degrees sounds so nice! Glad you had nice weather down in Fl ...and a nice time too!
ReplyDeleteYou asked about the little heart cookie cutter...I have had it for years. My mom gave it to us and I think she bought it from Martha Stewart's catalog (not sure if that still exists). However, Walmart has one with a curved tip..it is a little bigger than mine but still on the small side.
Hope this helps!
I wish you a nice weekend getting back to reality (cold!)
xo,
